In 2020, AMSA-UKI won a bid for AMSEP Hosting held by AMSA-Indonesia. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, AMSA-UKI unable to do offline hosting and unwillingly had to postpone it until the next tenure. This year, at the beginning of June 2021 AMSA-UKI finally held AMSEP Hosting for Philippines x India and raised “MAGKASAMA : Making Good and Remarkable Stories with AMSEP Indonesia” as the theme, led by Stefanni Genesaret the AMSA-UKI AMSEP Officer from class 2018. The event has 3 basic aspects of  Virtual AMSEP: Academic, Social action, and Sociocultural

AMSEP Indonesia for Philippines x India held for 5 days in a row starting from June 7th to June 11th via Zoom Cloud Meetings, the first session always started by 07:00 PM each day. On the first day of the event, all the delegates get warm greetings from the Master of Ceremonies, Adhris and Nadine from class 2018. Then continue with listening to AMSA official song, opening speech from the Project Officer of AMSEP Indonesia for Philippines x India, the Executive Board of AMSEP-UKI 2020/2021, the Representative of AMSA-UKI 2020/2021, Vice Dean III of The Faculty of Medicine UKI, the Director of AMSEP-Indonesia 2020/2021, the Director of AMSEP-Philippines 2020/2021, the Director of AMSEP-India 2020/2021, and the Director of AMSEP-International 2020/2021.

Afterward, the operator displayed a Profile Video of The Faculty of Medicine UKI and AMSA-UKI, continue with the Cultural Session which one of the main sessions in this event.  For the Cultural Session, we engage the delegates to learn how to do Saman dance and all the delegates looked really enthusiastic. There was AMSA-Indonesia’s special presentation too! and the first day of the event closed with the opening of the Bonding Session using MESH.  The second day of AMSEP Indonesia for Philippines x India, started by a city tour video that shows the beauty of Jakarta day life and nightlife made by the committees of the event. Then continue with the outstanding Academic Session presented by dr. Achnes Pangaribuan, M. Biomed, Sp. PD. The delegates were really passionate about the material bought by dr. Achnes. The next agenda is the explanation of the Social Action Campaign and ends with the opening of the Bonding Session with Kahoot! For the social action campaign, the committee provides several options: Mental Health Awareness, Diabetes Prevention, and COVID-19 Prevention.

On the third day, a Campus Tour video that shows Faculty of Medicine UKI welcoming the delegates, then continue with the Bonding Session by playing “Can You Hear Me Now?”. To make it balanced, the event continued with Academic Session 2: Problem Based Learning where the delegates separated into several groups and had to diagnose a scenario about Diabetes and followed by a presentation from each group. The next day, which the fourth day of the event, all the delegates learned how to speak in Bahasa Indonesia, they were really eager about it and it was a fun experience since they found out Tagalog and Bahasa Indonesia have several similarities.  The next session is another Bonding Session by playing “Find Words” together continue with the Social Action Campaign where all the videos of each group displayed by the operator.

On the fifth day of the event (we called it ‘Farewell Party’) started with the opening by the Master of Ceremonies and continue with the ‘Making Something’ session led by Namira and Uta that have shown their skills in cooking the legendary Nasi Goreng Gila in a witty way and successfully made all the delegates burst in laughter. The next agenda is the Showtime! Each group has to perform their yel-yel together then continue with a 5 minutes break. After the break, the event continues with the ice-breaking by playing ‘Guess the Song Title’ games, then continue with the awarding session and the farewell party closed by ‘Sharing with The Delegates’ session which gave so much emotion to all the delegates and the committee.

All the delegates had so much fun and they always gave positive feedbacks to AMSA-UKI during all the sessions. It was such an unforgettable moment and remarkable stories spent with all the delegates from Philippines and India.
