Greetings, People of Tomorrow!
As we know that there are only 12 days left until the Musyawarah Besar, and now is the time for all AMSA-UKI members to get to know and learn more about all Representative candidates through their Vision, Mission, and Plan of Action.
Therefore, on behalf of the Election Board Team, we are officially opening an online campaign for the Representative AMSA-UKI 2021/2022 candidate.
Here are the names of the three representative candidate:
#1 Sena Pongtuluran
Greetings, People of Tomorrow!
My name is Sena Pongtuluran, but people usually call me Sena. I am a second year medical student in Universitas Kristen Indonesia. I am very proud to be part of the Community Outreach division of AMSA-UKI.
First of all, I would like to thank each and everyone who encourage me especially the Election Board Team for giving me the chance to enroll in this Representative Candidacy.
I was born in Jakarta on June 23rd 2001. I graduated from SMAN 12 Jakarta in 2019. I was one of the extracurricular organizers at my school and was active in various events at school. I am sociable and humble person and I am also a good listener and always try be an open-minded person. Because by being an open-minded person, we can learn and experience new things.
I joined AMSA-UKI on my first year as medical student. I joined AMSA because I wanted to gain experience in organization. AMSA for me is not just an organization but also a place for me to develop myself, build relationships with others, and to improve the knowledge and skills that I can apply when I become a doctor. AMSA taught me that to be a doctor we must have three philosophies (Knowledge, Action, Friendship)
During my time as a part of AMSA-UKI, I have learned a lot of valuable experiences and lessons. This organization gives me a new home, friends and most importantly a new family that I love dearly. This love and affection is one of many reasons for me to advance to become the Representative of AMSA-UKI 2021/2022.
VISION :
AMSA-UKI as a place for all its members to develop their skills and passion to actualize their potential through various collaborations among its members based on AMSA’s philosophy which is friendship, action, and knowledge.
MISSION :
- To maximize the potential and interest of AMSA-UKI members.
- Develop a sense of belonging among AMSA-UKI members.
- Increasing the contribution of AMSA-UKI in AMSA Indonesia and AMSA International.
- Actively contribute to society by increasing cooperation with NGO/GO.
Plan of Action :
- ASAP ( AMSA SpeciAlist Project)
This event is useful for medical students to be able to get a description of the world of work, especially in specialist doctors, so that every student has high enthusiasm to be able to achieve the desired career goals. - National Team Preparation
This event is useful for AMSA-UKI members to improve preparation and knowledge about AMSA Indonesia by inviting former national teams from various divisions in AMSA Indonesia, to explain the open recruitment timeline, registration needs, and sharing sessions. - Social Activity for Community
This event aims as a form of real action to increase public awareness of health issues by inviting GO/NGOs to collaborate on social activities.

#2 Christine Debora Aprilia Simanjuntak
Greetings, People of Tomorrow!
My name is Christine Debora Aprilia Simanjuntak but you can call me Cici. I am a first year medical student in Universitas Kristen Indonesia and currently a member of AMSEP Division in AMSA-UKI.
First of all, I would like to thank all of you especially Election Board Team for giving me the opportunity to enroll myself as a Representative Candidate.
I am an only child who was born in Jayapura, April 19 2002. I graduated from SMAK Santa Maria Malang and have been very happy with organizational activities since junior high school. I was vice president of student council in junior high school and treasurer of student council in high school. Since I was in high school, I have lived far from my parents and entered the dormitory. Some of these experiences have shaped me into a hardworking and open minded person.
During joining AMSA, I feel AMSA has a big contribution in my life. I am comfortable and growing through the processes that I have been going through. For all the experience and abilities that I have, I feel this is a great opportunity for me to give my contribution back to AMSA. With support from colleagues and seniors, I am ready to become the next AMSA-UKI Representative 2021/2022
VISION :
AMSA-UKI as a home for its members to express, develop, and manifest various positive things both in academic and non-academic based on three AMSA philosophies namely knowledge, action, and friendship.
MISSION :
- Broaden the horizons of members in both academic and non-academic fields.
- Provide opportunities for members to develop more actively in various AMSA activities and innovate with new ideas.
- Strengthening the brotherhood among AMSA-UKI members and expanding friendships with other AMSA universities.
Plan of Action :
- In-house training
Provide knowledge to AMSA-UKI members about various things through workshops from professional institutions/parties. For example; basic life support knowledge, principles of natural disaster management, and surgical and non-surgical emergency medical seminars. - Upgrade
Training for AMSA-UKI new members to increase the sense of pride in being a member of AMSA as well as to help improve future performance through personality tests, leadership materials, and public speaking. - Among Us
An event where AMSA universities will collaborate on a puzzle-solving game. Where to solve puzzles, participants must complete several missions such as case discussions, general knowledge questions, etc. Besides aiming to expand relations between AMSA members, this activity will also broaden their horizons and critical thinking.

#3 Robert Kristianto
Greetings, People of Tomorrow!
My name is Robert Kristianto, goes by Robert for short. I am a second year medical student in Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Currently I am a member of RnA Division in AMSA-UKI.
I would like to thank each and everyone who encourage me especially the Election Board Team for giving me the chance to enroll in this Representative Candidacy.
I am the youngest child who was born in Kasongan, October 29, 2001. I graduated from SMAN 1 Palangkaraya, I was an OSIS member at SMAN 1 Palangkaraya and became a public relations officer for the SMANSA English Debate Club organization. I have a willingness to learn and get up quickly and I appreciate the idea of being able to help others grow and be better in the future.
After my two years at AMSA, AMSA has made me have many connections to everyone and I have accepted the three “knowledge, action and friendship” philosophies. AMSA has given me so many opportunities, friendships, experiences, lessons. AMSA allows me to grow in all aspects and makes me a better person.
With the experience I got at AMSA-UKI, it made me want to improve myself and give the best for AMSA-UKI. I am sure that with the guidance, support and upbringing of AMSA colleagues and seniors, I am ready to become the next AMSA-UKI 2020/2021 Representative.
VISION :
Make AMSA-UKI as a home for medical students which anchored in strong family bond and three AMSA philosophies, namely knowledge, action, and friendship, and also enable its members to grow their potentials to contribute in academic field, research and development, and in society
MISION :
- Develop interests and talents of AMSA-UKI members with experiences and skills to enhance their competencies as future doctors
- Intensify relations and collaborations between AMSA-UKI, AMSA-Indonesia, and AMSA International for a better community of AMSA-UKI
- Create and improve impacts to the society through social activities
- Discover and increase collaborations and also maintain the existing partnerships of both internal and external party
Plan of Action :
- AMSA-UKI Gathering
The event is to deepen the relationship between AMSA-UKI members, collect suggestions and ideas, to discuss and provide updates to members, share and bond with members. Held at least once every semester. - AMSA-UKI Workshop and Coaching
Conduct training and mentoring with the aim of training members academically, conducting research and development, public speaking. This event will be trained by experienced people in their field and held twice in one tenure.
