AMSA-UKI ANNIVERSARY is the celebration of AMSA-UKI’s birthday, which falls on 29th August. Asian Medical Students’ Association Christian University of Indonesia or known as AMSA-UKI was formally found in 29 August 2008, but it was an observer since 2007. AMSA-UKI was brought upon by seven founders, they are namely dr. Putri Puspitasari, dr. Raedy R. Susanto, dr. Jillientasia Lilihata, dr. Windri Retnaningdyah, dr. Dwi Handayani, dr. Rizky Ahmad Ayubhi and dr. Ido N. Bramantya (who was the first Representative of AMSA.
As they say, time flies. And it’s been 11 years since AMSA-UKI was established, to work sincerely for the community. In AMSA-UKI we learn, we create, and we are family. Through ups and downs, we always stick around and help each other.
In order to celebrate the 11th anniversary of AMSA-UKI, we hold two events namely Pre-Event and Event (D-Day). Pre-Event also called “Social Action” is an event we organized with intention to share happiness and give our contribution for people with disability. We chose SLB BCD Nusantara Ber-asrama, Depok as the venue for pre-event. The Social Action was held on September 21st. The event took place with joy and happiness. They received us with great enthusiasm. In there we teach them how to wash their hands properly, then we play games and sing together the songs they like. After that we end the pre-event by eating together and also say goodbye to each other.
Next event is D-Day that we held at Terrace Cafe Park Hotel, Cawang on September 28th. There was not only attended by active members of AMSA-UKI 2019/2020 but also attended by all the seniors from AMSA-UKI and Representatives from District 2. We all participated in many sessions ranging from flashmob “baby shark”, also saw talent shows from each division, have dinner together, and photo session together.
