Greetings, People of Tomorrow!

As we know that there are only couple weeks left until the Musyawarah Besar and now is the time for all AMSA-UKI members to get to know and learn more about all Representative candidates through their Vision, Mission, and Plan of Action.

Therefore, on behalf of the Election Board Team, we are officially opening an online campaign for the Representative AMSA-UKI 2023/2024 candidates. Here are the names of the three representative candidates:

#1 Eric Meijer

Greetings, People of Tomorrow!

My name is Eric Meijer, people usually call him Eric. I am a second year medical student in Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Curently I am a Part of Research Academic Division AMSA-UKI.

First of all, I would like to thank all those who have supported and helped, especially the election board team for giving me the opportunity as a representative candidate for AMSA-UKI 2023/2024.

I am graduated from SMAN 2 Kota Bekasi, and I was active in Palang Merah Remaja activities. I love to try something new and challenging. I am a person who is curious about something new, loves strategy, especially chess. Being competitive is a good thing, to develop yourself.

VISION:
AMSA-UKI as a place to develop interests and talents, increase empathy, be competitive, and strengthen relationships for its members in order to improve the quality of medical students based on the principles of knowledge, action, and friendship.

MISSION:

  1. Encouraging members to be more active by participating in a series of programs organized by AMSA.
  2. Instill a sense and competitive spirit in AMSA members so that they are able to compete in a healthy manner with AMSA and AMSA International.
  3. Strengthen the relationship between members by creating a sense of kinship and a sense of empathy among others.
  4. Establish good cooperation with internal and external parties.

Plans of Action:

  1. SS (Sail to share with AMSA)

Actually this is more towards a social program, sailing in the sense that we go somewhere (and in my opinion the orphanage or nursing home is most important) = to share materials and knowledge, and of course related to the health sector (here the goal is more towards cultivating a sense of empathy and train the way we communicate too / socialize.

2. CS2CE (Community Service to Clean Up The Environtment)

It’s like working with the community to clean up the environment which is considered to be inadequate from the aspect of cleanliness. Here we can also provide education on how we maintain environmental sanitation, the importance of having trees or plants around the house, how to process waste, and so on. From here, if there is a competition, who can clean the fastest or the best, for example, then given a prize, there will be a sense of competition in a positive direction.
